Specialist Software Engineer (Full Stack) - Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5-7 Years of Experience who enjoys working across the full stack and brings a strong AI-first mindset to how software is designed and delivered. This role sits within our Information & Security Risks department, so you'll work closely with teams focused on secure design, resilient systems, and enterprise-scale platforms.

If you enjoy solving problems endtoend, love working with a mix of technologies, and are comfortable operating in Linux-based environments, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain fullstack applications using .NET, Python, and React.
• Apply an AIdriven approach to solution design, automation, and feature development.
• Work confidently in Linux environments-from development to debugging to production.
• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable deployments.
• Architect and maintain cloudbased solutions using Azure.
• Deploy and manage microservices and workloads on Kubernetes (K8s).
• Collaborate closely with teams across engineering, cloud, security, and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex, crosslayer issues across applications, infrastructure, and cloud.

Mentor junior engineers and help elevate engineering standards across the team

What We're Looking For
Technical Skills
Strong experience with .NET (Core/6 ) for backend services.
Solid hands on experience with Python for backend services, automation, or AI related work.
Strong frontend development skills with React (modern hooks and patterns).
Very good understanding of Linux, shell scripting, and system fundamentals.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Good working knowledge of Azure services (App Service, AKS, Functions, Storage, etc.).
Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments.
Solid understanding of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Application Insights.
Added advantage: experience with NAS, CIFS, NFS protocols and enterprise storage systems.
Added advantage: exposure to Cybersecurity principles, secure coding, and risk aware design (role is within Information & Security Risks).
