Manager - Academic Content Specialist (MBBS Candidates Only)
DailyRounds / Marrow
Bengaluru, KA, IN
Full Time
Reference: 7adaaaa704700136
Job Description
Marrow is looking for a strong, senior academic professional to own end-to-end academic quality and execution of content. This is a role for someone who has independently driven content ownership across multiple projects — not just reviewed or contributed to them — and who can set the academic bar for the NEET PG learning experience, mentor content teams, and drive continuous excellence at scale.
\n\nWhat would you be doing here?
\n- \n
- Own content end-to-end — academic quality, accuracy, and depth of questions across subjects, from planning and authoring standards through review, editing, and upgrade to current NEET PG exam standards. \n
- Partner closely with the VP – Medical Affairs on content strategy, standardisation of quality benchmarks, and prioritisation across content - bringing an informed point of view, not just execution support. \n
- Take full ownership as an academic function — driving quality, consistency, and academic excellence across the platform as a senior owner, not just a contributor. \n
- Provide subject-matter mentorship and academic feedback to junior content writers, editors, and authors, raising the bar across the team. \n
- Analyse student performance and feedback data on questions and notes to identify weak areas and translate insight into content decisions. \n
- Track the latest NEET PG exam patterns, question trends, and guideline changes closely — ensure all content actively reflects current exam standards, not legacy patterns. \n
- Support hiring and evaluation of academic content contributors as the team scales. \n
What are we looking for?
\n- \n
- MBBS is mandatory — Usmle/ NEET PG exam experience (attempted/cleared) is a strong plus. \n
- Wi th strong subject knowledge across major NEET PG subjects, and a demonstrated track record of owning content quality and outcomes, not just producing content. \n
- Experience working across multiple content projects/functions, owning end-to-end quality and execution \n
- Demonstrated, current fluency with the latest NEET PG exam pattern and question trends — someone who can speak to what's changed recently and why it matters for content design. \n
- High attention to detail and the ability to independently own content quality and outcomes without heavy hand-holding. \n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven edtech environment, with a track record of leading high-impact content initiatives, not just supporting them. \n
Good to Have
\n- \n
- Gold medalist in academics \n
- Track record of mentoring and upskilling junior content writers or editors. \n
- Familiarity with QBank platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or content analytics tools. \n
Please note: This is an in-office role based in Bengaluru .
