About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our telemedicine team, delivering evidence-based psychological services to clients across India via secure digital platforms. This role offers the opportunity to make mental healthcare accessible to individuals in underserved and urban areas alike, all from a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical interviews through telemedicine platforms.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy).
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions via video conferencing, ensuring adherence to ethical and professional telehealth standards.
  • Administer, score, and interpret standardised psychometric tools in a virtual setting.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in compliance with applicable Indian regulations and organisational policies.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, counsellors, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate holistic patient care.
  • Participate in case conferences, peer supervision, and continuing professional development activities.
  • Educate clients and their families on psychological conditions, coping strategies, and wellness practices.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of telehealth protocols, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with developments in clinical psychology, digital therapeutics, and telemedicine best practices.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree (M.Phil.) or Doctorate (Ph.D. / Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Amity University (Amity University Noida, Amity University Mumbai, Amity University Lucknow, or any other Amity University campus recognised by UGC).
  • Valid RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration/licence, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in psychological assessment and psychotherapy (internship experience may be considered for recent graduates).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; additional Indian language proficiency is an advantage.

Preferred

  • Prior experience delivering mental health services via telemedicine.
  • Training or certification in specialised therapeutic modalities (e.g., trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, neuropsychological assessment).
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a broad range of clinical presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and personality disorders.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Technical Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for uninterrupted video consultations.
  • A private, quiet, and confidential workspace that meets telehealth privacy standards.
  • Proficiency with video conferencing software, digital assessment tools, and standard office applications.
