Composable Commernce Technical Lead
This role entails the Technical Lead to understand the existing on-premises Online E-commerce Cart, Checkout, Payment Systems and Pricing systems and their day-to-day processes around same, and hence forth provide and implement detailed enterprise level scalable and efficient solutions on migrating same to MACH compliant SaaS Ecommerce Engine. Technical Lead will need to provide continuous support to business and the technical teams in building Cart and Checkout solutions in AWS cloud and hence forth strengthening the business capabilities.
This role requires the Technical Lead to be very thorough with NFR requirements when building solutions around such real time data in the cloud.

Skills required to contribute:
Hands-on (Must have) 10+ years of working experience:
10+ years of experience with last 5-7 years in depth, and extensive experience of building secure Checkout micro services solution in Online Retail E-Commerce platforms.
Experience on microservices, APIs and a deep understanding of cloud-native services
Core AWS services: Expertise in Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and AWS Lambda for building and deploying serverless functions is essential
Knowledge on Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC), AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - proficiency with tools like Terraform
Amazon API Gateway - creating, publishing and managing the APIs that allow microservices to communicate with one another.
Proven experience of migrating eCommerce applications from Monolithic to MACH based Composable Architecture, with specializing in Checkout micro services.
Experience with MACH compliant Ecommerce platform like CommerceTools, Flooid Commerce, Big Commerce is preferred however knowledge on similar MACH/SaaS systems will also be good.
Strong understanding of payment Integrations and Fraud prevention tools.
Hands-on experience in integrating various Payment systems ex- Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay), Buy Now Pay later, Net banking.
Experience in developing event-based solutions e.g., Kafka, IBM Middleware, AWS Event Bridge
Experience with any on-premises ecommerce platforms like Oracle e-commerce is added benefit
Experience in building caching solutions e.g. AWS Elastic cache, Redis, MemCache.
Containerization - deploying and managing containerized applications using services like Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) or Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS).
Database management - working with AWS databases like Amazon DynamoDB, MongoDB for NoSQL needs or Amazon RDS for relation data.
Performance monitoring - implementing observability with Amazon CloudWatch to monitor application performance track metrics and set alarms.
Good understanding of how an online e-commerce platform works end to end.
Experience in data monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AWS Cloudwatch, X ray
Proficient in developing scalable No-SQL databases e.g., AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB.
Working experience with REST, SOAP is must.
Working knowledge on data encryption, tokenization.
Working knowledge on securing APIs e.g., using OAuth, Certificates or API keys.
Experience of different API Management solutions (Amazon API Gateway, IBM API Connect, MuleSoft, Azure etc.) for Retail Vertical and implemented for different customers
Ability to provide strategic direction to business and IT teams on best practices for Ecommerce use cases.
Excellent technical, communication, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong client interaction experience.
Here's how you'll contribute:
Serve as Technical expert on E-commerce features like Cart, Checkout and Pricing solutions.
Provide support and expertise on various Secure Payment Integrations.
Ensure payment integrations are compliant with industry standards such as PCI and data protection regulations.
Design/Optimize Omni Channel oriented micro services for various buying options ex- BOPIS.
Design and implement scalable and composable solutions for Checkout by integrating Pricing, Promotions, Payments and Cart products to all work together cohesively to provide seamless checkout experience, but yet working on a decoupled cloud-based services.
Collaborate with Payment vendors, SaaS vendors to build the solutions.
Collaborate with security team to ensure secure checkout, by recommending/designing various fraud prevention tools.
Collaborate with analytics team to monitor KPIs related to Checkout performance, conversion rate, cart abandonment etc.
Provide recommendations on A/B testing approaches for various checkout usecases.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting capabilities to development and support teams in any issue related to Checkout systems.
Develop and maintain documentation, processes that enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure technical standards align with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
