GoLang Sr. Developer (Backend / Microservices)
Location: PAN India
Exp Range: 8-10 years-L3 profiles only
Role Overview:
• We are looking for an experienced Go (Golang) Developer with 7-10 years of IT experience and strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend applications and microservices.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cloud-native development, distributed systems, REST/gRPC services, containerized deployments, and database technologies. The candidate should be capable of working closely with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient software solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and applications using Go (Golang).
• Build and enhance cloud-native microservices with high scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Design and implement REST APIs, gRPC services, and event-driven applications.
• Develop clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code following engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business requirements.
• Design and optimize data models using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications using containerization and CI/CD practices.
• Ensure application security, performance optimization, and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Experience
Core GoLang Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in Golang development for production-grade applications.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and event-driven systems.
• Strong understanding of Go routines, concurrency patterns, channels, and memory management.
• Experience in building scalable and high-performance backend applications.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Cloud & Container Technologies
• Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Load Balancers, etc.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Exposure to cloud-native application development and container orchestration.
Database Technologies
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as:
• PostgreSQL
• MySQL
• MongoDB
• DynamoDB
DevOps & CI/CD
• Experience with Git-based source control systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Understanding of automated deployments and release processes.
Agile & Engineering Practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practice.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have Skills
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, etc.).
• Experience with performance tuning and application optimization.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as:
o Prometheus
o Grafana
o Datadog
o Splunk
• Exposure to security best practice in cloud-native environments. |
