Assistant Department Manager

Job Responsibilities

1). Supervise employees and help carry out order Pick-Pack and Delivery Operations while ensuring that the Last mile vehicle route is properly planned for the night shift.

2). He/she is responsible for proper upkeep and maintenance of all business assets at the store during the night shift.

3) Monitor and validate last-mile routing plans for night-shift dispatches, ensuring optimal route allocation and timely vehicle movement.

4) Ensure effective supervision of night-shift staff, providing on-ground support to maintain productivity, adherence to SOPs, and operational discipline.

5) Conduct periodic checks to ensure infrastructure readiness, including material handling equipment, storage areas, and dispatch zones, to avoid disruptions.

6) Coordinate with cross-functional teams when required to resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure smooth end-to-end night-shift functioning.

7) Ensure that articles which are marked "Not Found" are searchable to supervisor/floor staff.

8) Manage packing operations across all stations.
