Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SDET – API Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Rest Assured to join our QA Automation team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining API automation frameworks, working in Agile environments, and contributing as an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust API automation frameworks using Java and Rest Assured.
• Create and execute automated API test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks using OOP principles and best practices.
• Integrate automation suites with Jenkins, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Generate and analyze test reports using Allure Reports.
• Manage test cases and defects using Jira, Xray, and Confluence.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
• Perform in-sprint automation and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and continuously improve test coverage and framework efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5–9 years of overall QA Automation experience.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Java and Rest Assured.
• Strong experience in API Automation Testing.
