  • Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow GRC and IRM solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices including Advanced Risk Management.
  • Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices for GRC/IRM on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Lead and participate in the development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules, including Policy and Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management.
  • Create and maintain workflows, automation, and integrations with other systems to streamline GRC/IRM processes.
  • Develop and implement complex business logic using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and other advanced ServiceNow scripting methods.
  • Ensure the quality of code and configuration through thorough testing and best practices.
  • Oversee the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the ServiceNow GRC/IRM environment, ensuring performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced functionality within the GRC/IRM modules.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues to minimize downtime and disruptions
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, risk management teams, and IT departments to ensure that GRC/IRM solutions meet organizational needs.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on the capabilities and best practices of ServiceNow GRC/IRM.
  • Lead training sessions and knowledge transfer to other team members and end-users.
  • Ensure that the GRC/IRM solutions adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Work with internal audit and compliance teams to address any gaps or issues identified in the GRC/IRM processes.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for projects, representing the development team to customers and ensuring the highest quality of delivered solutions.
  • Oversee technical delivery, ensuring alignment with client requirements and ServiceNow best practices for SecOps implementations.
  • Define and architect technical solutions at a detailed level, ensuring they align with clients' business needs and technological environments.
  • Lead technical onboarding with clients, assessing existing processes and platform configurations to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Perform hands on development on the ServiceNow platform leveraging all ServiceNow technologies and capabilities; Flow Designer, REST, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SSO, Mid-servers, and more.
  • Serve as an escalation point for technical issues, implementing efficiencies and driving resolution of critical path challenges.
  • Mentor and guide developers and consultants on best practices in technical design and SecOps management workflows.
  • Engage with ServiceNow product teams to provide feedback and insights on new features, capabilities, and best practices.
  • Participate in go-to-market strategies for new service offerings, ensuring alignment with Security Operations management trends and customer needs.
  • Proven experience in defining and deploying future-state leading practice for GRC processes and in identifying solutions from a people, process, and technology perspective
  • Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions with a focus on IRM, BCM, and Operational Resilience.
  • Develop comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams and roadmaps, to guide project implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals and IT strategy.
  • Oversee technical discussions and design sessions, ensuring that the architecture supports long-term scalability and integration.
  • Apply best practices in ServiceNow development, ensuring adherence to coding standards and maintaining data integrity and security.
  • Design integration solutions to connect ServiceNow with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Extensive experience in architecting and designing ServiceNow solutions, particularly in the areas of risk management, business continuity, and operational resilience.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices for scalability.
  • Proven track record of leading technical design sessions and discussions with stakeholders to achieve aligned solutions.
  • Expertise in creating detailed architectural documentation, including high-level designs and technical roadmaps.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow development best practices, with a strong focus on coding standards and data integrity.
  • Experience with integration patterns and the ability to design solutions that connect ServiceNow with external systems.
  • Lead the development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow IRM modules, including: Advanced Risk Management, Audit Management, Policy and Compliance Management, Vendor Risk Management (VRM), Regulatory Change Management, Business Continuity Management (BCM)
  • Design and implement IRM workflows, scoring models, entity scoping, and Risk Assessment Methodologies (RAM).
  • Configure functional components such as notifications, SLAs, dashboards, and reports.
  • Develop and manage ServiceNow script objects, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies and UI Actions, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Workflows and Flow Designer.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and performance standards.
  • Design and manage integration between ServiceNow IRM and external/internal systems using: REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server
  • Perform data imports/exports and ensure data quality and integrity across IRM processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in requirements workshops, design sessions, sprint planning, and UAT.
  • Provide technical guidance, best practices, and support during implementation and post-go-live phases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues.
  • Align the ServiceNow IRM platform with industry frameworks (NIST, PCIDSS, GDPR, SOX) and ensure regulatory compliance requirements are accurately configured and operational.
  • Architect and implement IRM solutions across Risk, Policy & Compliance, Audit, Vendor Risk, and Business Continuity Management modules.
  • Integrate ServiceNow IRM with external systems such as UCF or leverage ServiceNow Use Case Accelerators for compliance and regulatory content.
  • Configure IRM portals, policies, risk registers, audit test plans, vendor contracts, remediation workflows, and operational dashboards/reports.
  • Design and maintain relationships and data flows between IRM modules and other ServiceNow applications (ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, etc.).
  • Work closely with Business Analysts to refine and deliver technical stories within Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Partner with legal, risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders to align IRM processes with organizational and regulatory expectations.
  • Translate regulatory and operational requirements into scalable IRM workflows, data architecture, and automated platform capabilities.
  • Use Flow Designer, Business Rules, and integration capabilities to streamline risk management operations.
  • Provide consulting on IRM best practices and ensure technical solutions follow ServiceNow architecture standards.
  • Review and validate customizations for adherence to best practices, maintainability, and platform performance.
  • Guide development and configuration teams throughout design, build, and deployment phases.
