Software Engineer - Core Java, Any Scripting (Shell, Python, etc) and Linux (4 to 6 YOE)

Job Description:

Require 4 to 6 Years experienced engineers with Core Java and any scripting (Shell or Perl or Python skillset etc) with Linux. Location: Whitefield, Bangalore (Client location)

Required Skills:

Hands on experience on Core Java and Any Scripting (Shell or Perl or Python)

Proficiency in software development in Unix/Linux OS

Ability to work independently and willing to learn new tools & technologies

Prior experience in Agile methodologies

Hands on experience with version control (Perforce, git etc)

Hybrid working: Person should be willing to work in JF campus 3 days in a week

Expertise in software development with strong knowledge in Programming languages and technologies (Angular and Core Java)

Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, familiarity with functional programming concepts

Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills

Strong knowledge in Requirement analysis, Design and Implementation

Frameworks and API paradigm such as REST, CORBA

Good Understanding of Repositories, preferably Git

Unit and system testing of application code, Execution of implementation activities

Proactive to explore and come up with solution to complex technical issues

Take ownership of assigned jobs that are part of new feature implementations, Bug fixes and enhancement activities

Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools

Expertise in Scripting: Linux Shell scripting and Bash

Technical communication with internal and external stake holders

Exposure to Agile

Experience in developing software applications for Medical Devices domain CT, XR, MR, Common Platform

Knowledge in Health Care Standards & regulations like DICOM, IHE, HIPPA

Nice to have:

Spring boot, microservices

CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Solid understanding of agile development model

Ability to work independently with limited or no hand holding
