As a key member of the Bank Account Management (BAM) team, you will act as a strategic liaison between internal stakeholders and global financial institutions. Your mission is to optimize the firm's payment and liquidity infrastructure and cultivate high-impact bank relationships that drive commercial excellence and operational resilience

OUR IMPACT

The Bank Account Management team serves as the architects of the firm's global banking network. We are responsible for managing strategic relationships with a vast network of agent banks and vendors to ensure seamless global connectivity. BAM leverages its network to develop innovative industry solutions while maintaining uncompromising standards for service quality and risk management. By partnering across nearly every division, we provide the foundational infrastructure that enables the firm's global cash management, payment, and trading activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the strategic management of external agent bank relationships to achieve the firm's commercial and long-term strategic goals.

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle (opening, maintenance, and closure) of the firm's cash and securities bank accounts, with a focus on navigating complex requirements in emerging and client-specific markets.

  • Orchestrate onboarding and periodic Know Your Customer (KYC) Due Diligence processes, serving as a subject matter expert for both agent banks and internal legal/compliance teams.

  • Execute bank account dormancy reviews and proactively identify opportunities for account rationalization to reduce operational risk and cost.

  • Collaborate with internal divisions to lead and progress industry and regulatory initiatives (e.g., T+1 settlement shifts, ISO 20022 adoption).

  • Evaluate new business proposals to assess and mitigate impact on account management requirements within the agent bank network.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and champion automation or workflow enhancements to increase the team's scalability.

  • Escalate issues and challenges in the process and suggest procedural updates that can enhance processes / workflow

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of professional experience in financial services, treasury, or relationship management.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities in a high-stakes environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.

  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.

  • Foundational knowledge of the securities industry and trade life cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proactive, "owner-operator" mindset with a strong desire to learn and contribute to a global team.

  • Ability to remain composed and decisive under pressure.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) or an interest in process automation.

  • Strategic thinker with a strong client service orientation and the ability to anticipate the needs of the business

  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize at short notice

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Well-developed organizational skills
