Job Description;

Overview:
As part of the ERP Programme's Design & Build team, this role will support the successful go-live and stabilization of the Oracle system by resolving finance-related queries, particularly around Coding, Chart of Accounts (CoA), and Inter-company processes. It will involve knowledge sharing, training delivery, and process improvement, with a strong emphasis on supporting BPO teams during Month-End Close (MEC) periods and ensuring key finance processes are followed correctly.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
  • Resolve finance system user queries related to Oracle Coding, CoA, and Inter-company accounting
  • Support knowledge building for Genpact SMEs and wider finance users by identifying and enhancing training and documentation
  • Deliver training to onshore and offshore teams using various methods (classroom, virtual, documentation)
  • Review and enhance end-to-end finance processes, including non-system and reporting tasks, aligning with best practices
  • Monitor and ensure completion of key MEC health and hygiene tasks by BPO teams (e.g., clearing default coding accounts)
  • Identify process gaps or issues and collaborate across teams to implement timely resolutions
  • Escalate complex or exceptional issues appropriately
  • Act as a champion of the ERP project and contribute to broader transformation initiatives
  • Handle any other tasks as required by the project

Essential Experience/Qualifications:
  • Previous accounting experience, including deep understanding of inter-company processes
  • Qualified Accountant (or equivalent practical expertise)
  • Detailed Oracle ERP knowledge and system navigation
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Month-End Close (MEC) cycles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to solutions
  • Excellent communication skills; able to work with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Track record of delivering training (especially to offshore teams) and managing queries with a customer-focused mindset
  • Advanced Excel and experience using ticket management systems
  • Comfortable working proactively and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Financially minded with great attention to detail and focus on delivering 'right-first-time' results
  • Team player with the ability to influence cross-functional, multi-national teams in a project environment

Desirable:
  • Previous experience with IVCE (Intercompany Vendor/Customer Engine)
  • Background in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
  • Experience working in large-scale project environments
