Apprentice, HR Administration
The Apprentice, HR Administration is a member of the HR Shared Services team, supporting the delivery of consistent and high-quality HR services across the employee lifecycle. Working under the guidance of experienced HR professionals, the apprentice assists with employee-facing support and administrative processes such as onboarding, employee data updates, job changes, and leave administration. The role provides valuable exposure to HR operations while developing knowledge of HR policies, systems, and processes.
The Apprentice collaborates with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), and colleagues across the business to ensure accurate and timely service delivery. Through strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a customer-focused approach, the apprentice contributes to a positive employee experience and the efficient operation of HR services.

REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
High attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation
Ability to manage high volume work, prioritize competing tasks, and meet deadlines
Strong organization and problem solving skills
DESIRED
Exposure to HR service center technologies or ticketing systems
Background working in a multi-site shared services environment

Employee Lifecycle Support
Assist in processing and managing lifecycle transactions including onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, and separations.
Support onboarding steps such as documentation collection, system entry, coordination of pre-employment requirements, and new hire communication.
Assist with the administration of leave of absence (LOA) cases, ensuring employees receive accurate guidance and documentation is processed according to policy.
Support to maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR, legal, and data privacy requirements
Update HR systems and employee data under the guidance of HR Administrators, helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information across HR platforms.
Employee Support & Case Management
Assist in responding to employee inquiries through the HR Help Desk or case management systems, providing clear, timely, and policy-aligned information under guidance as needed.
Escalate complex or sensitive cases to appropriate team members in accordance with established procedures.
Contribute to a positive, efficient, and employee-focused shared services experience through strong customer service, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Collaboration with HRBPs and COEs
Work closely with HR Administrators, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and Centers of Excellence (COEs), including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Global Mobility, to support employee lifecycle processes and gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities.
Assist HR Administrators with cross-functional workflow requirements, ensuring assigned tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in line with established procedures.
Provide regular updates to HR Administrators on the status of assigned tasks, pending requests, and items requiring further action or escalation.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve HR lifecycle processes, reduce manual administrative tasks, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Support HR Administrators in implementing process improvements that promote standardization, accuracy, and operational efficiency within the HR Shared Services model.
Maintain and update process documentation as required and assist with the adoption of new or revised HR workflows, procedures, and systems.
