Key Responsibilities:

Bid Management & Proposal Development:
- Lead the end-to-end bid process for data center projects, ensuring timely, accurate, and compelling proposals.
- Develop comprehensive bid packages, integrating Vertiv's Data Center solutions with tailored power, cooling, and monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to align bid strategies with regional client requirements and regulatory standards in India.

Solution Design & Technical Integration:
- Work closely with technical SMEs to define modular data center designs using Data Center, focusing on scalability, rapid deployment, and cost optimization.
- Customize Data Center solutions to accommodate regional climate conditions, power availability, and space constraints in India.

Cost Analysis & Risk Mitigation:
- Conduct detailed cost analysis, including equipment, labor, logistics, and contingency planning for Data Center installations.
- Identify potential risks associated with modular data center deployments in India, including site challenges, power supply reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Client Engagement & Presentation:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the bid process, providing technical and commercial clarifications.
- Present tailored Data Center solutions to clients, emphasizing Vertiv's expertise in modular data centers and rapid deployment capabilities.

Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure all bid documents adhere to Vertiv's internal guidelines, as well as Indian standards (e.g., BIS, IS, NFPA, TIA-942).
- Conduct thorough quality checks to verify alignment with client specifications and Vertiv product standards.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records of all bid activities, including design schematics, cost breakdowns, and technical proposals.
- Generate bid performance reports, providing insights into win/loss ratios and strategic recommendations for future bids.

Market Analysis & Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor modular data center market trends in India, identifying emerging opportunities for Data Center deployments in sectors such as telecom, BFSI, and government.
- Provide feedback to product development teams on potential enhancements to Data Center solutions based on market feedback and client requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in bid management, sales engineering, or project management within the data center or modular infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of Vertiv Data Center solutions and their applications in data center projects.
- Experience in modular data center deployment in India, including familiarity with local regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, risk analysis, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CDCP, PMP, or Vertiv Data Center training are advantageous.
Analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimization and risk management.
