Experience:10-15+ years (with 5+ years in ServiceNow CMDB / ITOM)
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect to lead the design, governance, and optimization of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role will define CMDB strategy, ensure data quality, and drive alignment with ITOM, ITSM, and business services. Key Responsibilities

• Define and own CMDB architecture, data model, and governance framework
• Design CI class structures, relationships, and identification/reconciliation rules
• Lead CMDB implementations aligned with CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
• Establish and enforce CMDB data quality standards (completeness, accuracy, compliance)
• Integrate CMDB with Discovery, Service Mapping, and third-party tools
• Drive automation of CI population via Discovery, integrations, and cloud sources
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams
• Conduct CMDB audits, health dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor developers/admins and guide best practices
• Act as SME for ITOM and CMDB-related architecture decisions

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM
• Deep understanding of CSDM framework
• Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management
• Expertise in Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
• CMDB data governance and lifecycle management
• Integration experience (REST/SOAP, ETL tools, cloud sources)
• Strong scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Glide APIs)
