SAP BASIS

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SAP BASIS administration and day-to-day technical support activities.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP systems and components.
• Manage SAP application servers, instances, profiles, and system parameters.
• Perform SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Handle SAP transports, change management, and system refresh activities.
• Manage SAP user administration, roles, authorizations, and security-related activities.
• Monitor and manage SAP jobs, background processes, dumps, locks, and system logs.
• Perform database monitoring and coordinate with database teams for technical issues.
• Support SAP kernel upgrades, patches, support packs, and system upgrades.
• Manage SAP system availability, backup coordination, and disaster recovery activities.
• Work on SAP interfaces, RFC connections, and integration-related technical issues.
• Coordinate with functional, infrastructure, and application teams for issue resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow ITIL/change management processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Good knowledge of SAP transport management and system monitoring.
• Experience in user administration, roles, authorizations, and security.
• Knowledge of SAP performance monitoring and tuning.
• Experience with SAP upgrades, patches, kernel upgrades, and system maintenance.
• Good understanding of SAP architecture and application server management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
