SAP Project Management

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP projects from initiation through implementation and post-go-live support.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and project documentation.
• Manage project execution across SAP functional and technical teams.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, SAP consultants, vendors, and senior management.
• Monitor project progress, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and budgets.
• Drive project governance, status reporting, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage change requests, scope changes, and project priorities.
• Ensure effective coordination across SAP modules and integration teams.
• Manage testing, UAT, cutover, deployment, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
• Ensure adherence to project methodologies, SAP best practices, quality standards, and organizational processes.
• Track project KPIs and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
• Lead project teams and ensure effective resource allocation and utilization.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization across SAP project delivery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall experience with strong experience in SAP Project Management.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and project lifecycle.
• Excellent project planning, execution, risk, issue, and change management skills.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
• Experience managing cross-functional SAP teams.
• Good understanding of SAP modules and their integration.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with senior business stakeholders and management.
