this is purely a Data warehousing & ETL developer position. Please consider below as the final JD for the requirement.

Data Warehousing

  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Experience designing Enterprise Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Operational Data Stores.
  • Hands-on experience with dimensional modeling techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), Fact & Dimension design, surrogate keys, and aggregation strategies.
  • Experience in data modeling and metadata management.

ETL & Data Integration

  • Strong experience in ETL/ELT development and data integration (Infomatica/ Datastage/ Wherescape/ Talend)
  • Expertise in source-to-target mappings, data transformations, data cleansing, and enrichment.
  • Experience working with structured and semi-structured data.
  • Understanding of batch and near real-time data processing patterns.
  • Ability to adapt and work across various ETL platforms and frameworks.

Database & SQL

  • Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
  • Experience working with relational databases and large datasets.
  • Understanding of query optimization techniques, indexing strategies, partitioning, and data performance optimization.

Cloud & Modern Data Platforms (Preferred)

  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with Lakehouse, Data Lake, and modern Data Warehouse architectures.
  • Understanding of cloud-native data integration and orchestration patterns.
  • Team Leadership and Mentoring
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Requirement Gathering & Solution Design
  • Project Estimation & Planning
  • Agile Delivery Management
  • Client Communication
  • High level Visualization Understanding (Tableau/ Power BI/ Looker etc.)
