Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Developer in Test with strong technical skills, a quality-first
mindset, and hands-on experience in test automation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building automation frameworks, improving testing
processes, collaborating with developers and QA engineers, and contributing to the evolution of
modern quality engineering practices.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, maintaining, and
improving automated test solutions across different technologies and platforms. They will also
contribute to Pivotree’s AI-driven QA initiatives, including the development and adoption of AI
tools.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and
enterprise platforms.
Build and improve test automation frameworks using technologies such as Python,
Playwright, Robot Framework, and related tools.
Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, product owners, and technical leads to
define effective test strategies.
Analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements to identify test
scenarios and automation opportunities.
Contribute to the implementation of AI-assisted QA workflows, including test generation,
test execution, test maintenance, and self-healing automation.
Support the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and work with development teams to
resolve issues.

Promote best practices in test automation, code quality, maintainability, and reusability.
Help improve regression testing coverage and execution efficiency across projects.
Participate in code reviews, test reviews, and technical discussions.
Contribute to internal accelerators, reusable libraries, and QA automation standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the QA Center of Excellence.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong experience in software testing and test automation.
Solid programming skills, preferably in Python.
Experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Robot
Framework, Pytest, Selenium, or similar.
Experience testing web applications, APIs, and complex business workflows.
Good understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, regression testing,
and defect management.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation code.
Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
Experience collaborating in Agile delivery environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automated
test coverage.

Must Have
Experience with AI-assisted development or QA tools, including Claude, ChatGPT,
GitHub Copilot, or similar.
Experience contributing to AI-based testing workflows, agentic QA solutions, or test
generation tools.
Experience with non-functional testing, especially performance testing and/or security
testing.
Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins,
GitLab CI, or similar.
Experience with cloud platforms or enterprise environments.
Experience with test reporting, observability, and quality metrics.
Experience with Docker or containerized test execution.
Experience with eCommerce, data management, supply chain, or enterprise integration
platforms.
Experience creating reusable automation libraries, internal accelerators, or framework
components.
Familiarity with API testing tools and libraries.
Experience mentoring QA engineers or supporting automation adoption across teams.
