Pre-Sales Consultant -AI & Analytics
Job Description
About Aarvian
\nAarvian is an enterprise AI transformation consulting firm that helps organizations turn AI into measurable business outcomes through purpose-driven strategy, domain expertise, and trusted innovation — moving clients from AI experimentation to enterprise adoption across AI & ML advisory, data and infrastructure operations, generative AI and agentic solutions, and intelligent automation.
\nRole Overview
\nWe are looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant / Manager who combines genuine technical depth in AI and Analytics with the commercial and storytelling skills needed to win enterprise deals. The ideal candidate began their career building AI/ML and analytics solutions hands-on, and has since moved into a pre-sales role where they own end-to-end proposal development — from opportunity qualification and solution design through costing, RFP/RFI response, and client-facing presentation — across multiple industry verticals.
\nExpected Career Trajectory
\n- \n
- Started as a hands-on practitioner — data scientist, ML/AI engineer, or analytics consultant — building and deploying models, dashboards, or AI-driven solutions. \n
- Progressively moved closer to the client, taking on solutioning, estimation, and proposal-writing responsibilities alongside delivery. \n
- Has now spent meaningful time (typically 2–4+ years) fully dedicated to pre-sales, owning proposals end-to-end rather than just contributing technical inputs. \n
- Has worked across more than one industry vertical, adapting AI/Analytics narratives and solution architectures to different client contexts. \n
Key Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Own end-to-end proposal development for AI and Analytics opportunities — from opportunity qualification and discovery through solution design, effort estimation, pricing input, and final proposal/RFP submission. \n
- Translate client business problems into clear AI/Analytics solution narratives, architectures, and value propositions, working closely with delivery, technical, and domain SMEs. \n
- Lead and contribute to RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, technical write-ups, case studies, and capability decks tailored to client and vertical. \n
- Design and articulate solution approaches spanning AI/ML advisory, data & analytics platforms, generative and agentic AI, and intelligent automation. \n
- Build and present business cases, ROI models, and commercial constructs (pricing, effort sizing, delivery models) in partnership with sales and delivery leadership. \n
- Represent Aarvian in client workshops, solution walkthroughs, and executive presentations, including running or contributing to proof-of-concept (PoC) scoping. \n
- Maintain and evolve reusable pre-sales assets — solution accelerators, reference architectures, proposal templates, and vertical-specific pitch material. \n
- Partner with account/sales teams to shape deal strategy, competitive positioning, and win themes. \n
- Stay current on AI/Analytics market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to keep proposals differentiated and credible. \n
Required Experience & Qualifications
\n- \n
- 5–10 years of overall experience, including meaningful hands-on delivery experience in AI/ML, data science, or analytics before transitioning into pre-sales. \n
- Demonstrated track record of owning full proposal lifecycles (not just technical inputs) for enterprise AI/Analytics engagements. \n
- Experience working across multiple industry verticals (e.g., manufacturing, BFSI, retail, telecom, public sector, industrial/metals), adapting solutioning to each context. \n
- Strong grasp of AI/ML, data engineering, and analytics platforms and architectures — sufficient to design and defend a solution technically, not just present it. \n
- Proven ability to produce clear, client-ready proposal documents, solution decks, and commercial write-ups under deal timelines. \n
- Comfortable engaging directly with client stakeholders, from technical teams through business and executive sponsors. \n
Preferred Experience
\n- \n
- Prior experience working with Middle East (ME) clients — understanding of regional buying processes, stakeholder dynamics, and localization/compliance considerations. \n
- Experience with government or public sector clients — familiarity with public-sector RFP/tender processes, compliance and security requirements, and longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. \n
- Exposure to large-scale digital transformation or Industry 4.0 / industrial AI programs is a plus. \n
Skills & Competencies
\nTechnical
\n- \n
- Working knowledge of AI/ML techniques, generative & agentic AI, data platforms (cloud data warehouses/lakes), and common analytics/BI tooling. \n
- Ability to read and contribute to solution architecture diagrams and effort/estimation models. \n
Business & Communication
\n- \n
- Excellent written communication — able to structure and write persuasive, well-organized proposals and executive summaries. \n
- Strong verbal and presentation skills, comfortable leading client-facing conversations and workshops. \n
- Commercial acumen — understanding of pricing models, effort estimation, and deal economics. \n
- Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to work under deal-driven deadlines. \n
Education
\n- \n
- Bachelor‘s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or equivalent management qualification is a plus. \n
