Assistant Professor- Structural Engineering

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and practical classes in Structural Engineering and related Civil Engineering subjects.
\n
• Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assessments, and evaluate student performance.
\n
• Mentor students in academics, projects, internships, and career development.
\n
• Conduct quality research and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
\n
• Guide student projects and encourage innovation and problem-solving.
\n
• Participate in curriculum development and implement Outcome-Based Education (OBE) practices.
\n
• Supervise Structural Engineering laboratories and ensure effective utilization of laboratory resources.
\n
• Support departmental activities, accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC), examinations, admissions, and academic administration.
\n
• Build industry collaborations through internships, consultancy, guest lectures, and industrial visits.
\n
• Perform any other academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
\n

Qualification

\n
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering and M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering or equivalent specialization.
\n
• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) is a must.
\n

Experience

\n
• Teaching, research, or relevant industry experience in Structural Engineering is preferred.
\n
• Experience with accreditation processes, research projects, or consultancy assignments will be an added advantage.
\n
