Researcher– YouTube (SolarSquare)
\nRole Overview
\nAs a Researcher for SolarSquare's YouTube team, you will uncover the stories, insights, and questions that shape our content. You will conduct on-ground reporting, interview customers and industry experts, investigate topics, verify facts, and build strong editorial foundations for videos, podcasts, and long-form content. Your work will ensure every piece of content is rooted in real customer experiences, credible research, and compelling storytelling.
\nRoles & Responsibilities

- Conduct primary research by interviewing homeowners, prospects, channel partners, OEMs, installers, and internal teams to uncover real customer stories, pain points, and insights. \n
- Perform on-ground reporting by visiting customer installations, speaking to stakeholders, and identifying stories that build trust and brand love. \n
- Research and prepare detailed editorial briefs for YouTube videos and podcasts, including background context, key themes, supporting data, and story angles. \n
- Develop interview frameworks and thought-provoking questions that lead to insightful conversations with customers, industry experts, and business leaders. \n
- Investigate industry trends, government policies, subsidies, electricity regulations, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify high-impact content opportunities. \n
- Validate facts, claims, and statistics using credible sources before they are incorporated into scripts. \n
- Monitor YouTube comments, customer conversations, social media, forums, and market discussions to identify emerging topics and audience questions. \n
- Work closely with writers, producers, and the creative team to translate research into engaging, accurate, and consumer-friendly content. \n
- Build and maintain an organized repository of customer insights, research reports, expert interviews, FAQs, industry data, and content references. \n
- Continuously recommend new content ideas based on audience behavior, field research, and market developments. \n
