Assistant Professor-OTT

Roles & Responsibilities:

\n
• Teach undergraduate (and possibly postgraduate) courses in Operation Theater Technology.
\n
• Prepare lesson plans, lectures, lab/practical manuals, and assessment tools in line with curriculum guidelines.
\n
• Supervise students in laboratory-based and simulation-based training.
\n
• Mentor and evaluate students through assignments, internal exams, and presentations.
\n

Research and Development:

\n
• Engage in academic research related to OT technology and contribute to scholarly publications.
\n
• Encourage and supervise student research projects.
\n
• Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in OT techniques and equipment.
\n

Administrative Responsibilities:

\n
• Contribute to the development and review of the academic curriculum. Participate in departmental meetings, academic audits, and university events.
\n
• Assist in organizing workshops, continuing education programs, and faculty development activities.
\n
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department or Dean.
\n

Qualifications and Experience:

\n
• Master's degree in Operation Theater Technology or related field from a recognized university (M.Sc. in OTT preferred).
\n
• Minimum 4-6 years of teaching or relevant clinical experience in a hospital/educational setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of surgical protocols, infection control, and OT management.
\n
• Excellent communication, instructional, and mentoring skills.
\n
