Security Officer

We are hiring for Fire Safety and Security team, for the location of Pawane - Navi Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate having exp in manufacturing industry will be added advantage / NCC Cadet with Certificate, Ex-Armed Forces, Paramilitary preferred

1. Security Management:

\n
• Monitor and ensure the implementation of security protocols and procedures.
\n
• Supervise security personnel, ensuring discipline, readiness, and adherence to security policies.
\n
• Conduct security risk assessments and suggest mitigation measures.
\n
• Coordinate access control, visitor management, and surveillance operations.
\n
• Investigate security incidents, thefts, or breaches and report findings to the Head of Security.
\n
• Liaise with local law enforcement agencies, government bodies, and emergency responders as needed.
\n

2. Fire Safety Management:

\n
• Ensure fire safety compliance as per local laws, regulations, and company policies.
\n
• Conduct regular fire risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
\n
• Supervise the maintenance and functioning of fire safety equipment (fire extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, etc.).
\n
• Organize and lead fire drills, evacuation drills, and emergency response training for employees.
\n
• Investigate fire incidents, prepare reports, and suggest preventive actions.
\n

3. Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Management:

\n
• Assist in the development and execution of emergency response plans.
\n
• Train employees and security teams on emergency procedures and first aid.
\n
• Ensure business continuity plans include security and fire safety measures.
\n

4. Compliance & Documentation:

\n
• Maintain records of security incidents, fire drills, training sessions, and audits.
\n
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and regulatory fire safety norms.
\n
• Prepare reports and updates for the Head of Security.
\n

5. Training & Awareness:

\n
• Conduct security and fire safety training for employees and contract security personnel.
\n
• Raise awareness about fire hazards, evacuation procedures, and security best practices.
\n

6. Qualifications & Experience:

\n
• Bachelors degree (BSc preferred), Advance Diploma in Fire Safety, Certification in Security or Security Management.
\n
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in security and fire safety roles.
\n
• Certification in Fire Safety, First Aid, or Industrial Security will be an advantage.
\n
• Knowledge of security risk assessment, fire safety laws, and emergency response planning.
\n
• NCC Cadet with Certificate, Ex-Armed Forces, Paramilitary preferred.
\n
• CPP, PSP, PCI Certification preferred
