Job Description
Welfare, Facility & transportation:
\n%CF; Manage day to Facilities upkeep & canteen operations. He should manage vendor contracts as a
\nprimary statutory welfare service, ensuring high standards of food hygiene, quality, and subsidized
\nnutritional offerings for all workers.
\n%CF; Oversee employee transportation including e.i staff buses, taxis, and company vehicles to ensure safe,
\nreliable daily commuting for a smooth employee experience.
\n%CF; Manage plant facilities, timely uniform distribution, printing/stationery, and overall site amenities to
\nmaintain a functional, comfortable working environment.
\n%CF; Manage and govern welfare budgets (Capex and Opex), oversee purchasing/contract renewals, and
\ntrack vendor performance to ensure uninterrupted delivery of worker-centric services.
\n%CF; Oversee plant security operations and implement the Structured Security Operating Manual and SOPs
\nto protect employees, conduct site audits, and maintain business continuity.
\nStatutory compliance & liaison:
\n%CF; Directly manage and maintain statutory welfare provisions under statutory code, driving occupational
\nhealth and hygiene in collaboration with safety officers through periodic health surveillance, worker
\nmedical examinations, clean drinking water supply, gender-segregated latrines/urinals, and PPE
\nutilization monitoring.
\n%CF; Oversee 100% worker enrollment under ESI and EPF schemes, process Maternity Benefit applications,
\nmanage Workmen's Compensation claims, and advise workers on leave, gratuity, and statutory
\nentitlements.
\n%CF; Maintain direct relations with government administration and statutory authorities—including the
\nDistrict Collectorate, Labour/Factory Inspectors, Police, and local bodies—to ensure full legal
\ncompliance, best practice adoption, and smooth plant operations.
\nEngagement & grievance handling:
\n%CF; Resolve worker grievances, maintain the Welfare Complaints Register, counsel employees on
\npersonal or domestic challenges, and facilitate active Works Committee and Joint Welfare Committee
\nmeetings.
\n%CF; Conduct orientation sessions for new hires, lead health/safety awareness drives, and organize
\nemployee engagement, sports, and cultural events to foster workplace morale.
\nQualifications:
\nThe incumbent should be a graduate with a Degree or Diploma in Social Work / Labour Welfare / Personnel
\nManagement / Social Science from a recognised institution.
\nThe incumbent should have handled welfare activities for manufacturing set up in the past for a minimum
\ntwo years.
