We are looking for an experienced Associate - IT Strategy & TMO to support technology strategy, transformation, operating model evolution, and portfolio governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong consulting discipline, structured problem-solving, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations for senior leadership.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Transformation

  • Drive transformation initiatives with a focus on business outcomes, value realization, and strategic objectives, beyond traditional milestone tracking.
  • Conduct current-state assessments to identify gaps, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Consolidate inputs across multiple workstreams and convert them into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and cross-functional challenges and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Develop transformation frameworks, playbooks, methodologies, and best-practice approaches.

IT Operating Model

  • Support the evolution of the IT operating model in line with changing business and technology priorities.
  • Assess organizational structures, governance models, processes, roles, and decision-making mechanisms.
  • Benchmark IT operating practices against industry standards and leading organizations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accountability, governance, and scalability.
  • Create reusable operating-model frameworks and playbooks to support organizational growth and transformation.

Executive Reporting & Strategic Communication

  • Develop executive-level presentations and strategic narratives that enable effective decision-making.
  • Translate complex technology and business information into concise, structured, decision-ready content.
  • Prepare materials for steering committees, leadership reviews, executive forums, and board-level discussions.
  • Anticipate leadership questions and develop relevant analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain presentation templates, storytelling frameworks, and executive communication standards.

IT Intake & Portfolio Management

  • Manage and improve IT intake processes using a strategic value and business-impact lens.
  • Evaluate initiatives based on strategic alignment, investment requirements, capacity, dependencies, and expected value.
  • Develop governance materials outlining investment choices, trade-offs, priorities, and recommendations.
  • Maintain portfolio views covering initiatives, investments, capacity, dependencies, and strategic alignment.
  • Document portfolio decisions and the rationale behind them to strengthen organizational knowledge.
  • Continuously improve governance and intake processes based on outcomes, stakeholder feedback, and lessons learned.

What's Makes You a Great Fit

  • 7-9 years of overall experience, including approximately 3-5 years in strategy consulting or corporate strategy.
  • Proven experience in IT strategy, technology strategy, digital transformation, IT operating models, or technology consulting.
  • Experience with leading consulting firms such as Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, EY, PwC, or comparable organizations is preferred.
  • Experience working in automotive, manufacturing, or complex global organizations is an advantage.
  • Strong consulting toolkit with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop practical, data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling executive presentations.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, demand management, portfolio planning, investment management, and vendor management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • An AI-first mindset, with practical experience using AI tools to improve research, analysis, productivity, problem-solving, and business outcomes.
  • MBA or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently deliver strategy and transformation initiatives rather than simply supporting execution.
  • Comfortable challenging existing practices and identifying better ways of working.
  • Able to move seamlessly between deep analytical work and executive-level storytelling.
  • Proactive, curious, commercially aware, and outcome-oriented, with the ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
