Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused L2 Network Security & Wireless Engineer to support enterprise customers within a Managed Services environment. The engineer will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, change implementation, and operational support across network, security, and wireless infrastructure while ensuring adherence to SLA commitments and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations
· Provide Level-2 support for enterprise network infrastructure.
· Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Routing, Switching, WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN technologies.
· Perform configuration changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities through approved change management processes.
· Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues.
· Support ISP coordination and circuit troubleshooting.
Security Operations
· Manage and troubleshoot Firewall, VPN, and Network Security solutions.
· Support security policy implementation and rule modifications.
· Analyze firewall logs and investigate security-related incidents.
· Assist in vulnerability remediation and security compliance activities.
· Coordinate with OEM vendors for TAC support and issue resolution.
Wireless Operations
· Manage enterprise wireless infrastructure and controllers.
· Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, roaming, authentication, and performance issues.
· Support wireless surveys, AP deployments, and optimization activities.
· Monitor wireless network health and user experience.
Service Delivery & Operations
· Ensure adherence to SLAs, OLAs, and customer operational processes.
· Participate in Major Incident Management and Problem Management activities.
· Perform root cause analysis and provide preventive recommendations.
· Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
· Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities.
· Support customer audits, reporting, and governance requirements.
