IAM Security Analyst Contractor Role Description The IAM Application Security team is responsible for driving key IAM security controls by performing technical reviews of third-party (SaaS) and internal applications, and collaborating with system owners to design and support control implementation. This role focuses on implementing and optimizing IAM processes and controls, with a strong emphasis on conducting IAM-related security reviews and working cross-functionally to remediate findings via scalable, AI-enabled processes.   The ideal candidate combines technical Security review skills and experience with proactive and organized program ownership, using AI tools as an accelerant while independently validating, challenging, and finalizing any AI-assisted work before it reaches a stakeholder.   Key Responsibilities •  Perform comprehensive IAM security reviews for internal and third-party (SaaS) applications, role creation/architecture, and LDAP group configurations: identify IAM risks, propose practical mitigations, and partner with stakeholders to support implementation. •  Engage proactively with a broad range of technical stakeholders to thoroughly understand applications and deliver optimal, actionable security recommendations, including tracking and closing out open questions promptly. •  Own and prioritize projects independently: manage existing queues, strategically triage new requests, and identify workflow or routing improvements (e.g., work better suited to a self-service or automated path). •  Leverage AI to accelerate daily workflows and projects, and independently validate any AI/LLM-assisted output for accuracy and relevance before it is included in a deliverable or shared with a stakeholder. •  Proactively communicate progress, risks, blockers, and delays to stakeholders. •  Have proven experience with IAM Security Reviews •  Have proven experience with SaaS application migrations to a centralized IDP (okta, internal tooling, etc) •  Utilizes AI/LLM to scale their workflows •  Is a self-starter, and can prove how they work through ambiguity •     Qualifications •  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. •  Extensive experience conducting security reviews, with a focus on IAM and RBAC for third-party (SaaS) applications and internal services. •  Experience in software engineering, specifically with security/access management systems and security automation. •  A demonstrated track record of proactive, independent ownership; able to speak to specific examples of driving ambiguous, multi-stakeholder work to closure without step-by-step direction. •  Program Management aptitude: comfortable owning and prioritizing a backlog, coordinating across stakeholders, and tracking multi-step initiatives through to completion. •  Direct experience using AI tools (LLMs, Glean, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate technical work, combined with the judgment and discipline to independently verify AI-generated output rather than taking it at face value - this is a core requirement of the role, not a supplementary skill. •  Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts concisely and actionably to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. •  Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with minimal oversight.
