Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Execute manual testing for web-based platforms and applications.
Prepare and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
Identify, document, and track defects using QA/defect management tools.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to resolve issues.
Participate in test planning and contribute to QA documentation.
Retest fixes and ensure defects are properly resolved.
Maintain testing reports and provide regular status updates.
Ensure application quality, functionality, and performance meet requirements.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of Software Testing and QA processes.
Knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and defect life cycle.
Experience with manual testing and test case execution.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of web applications and APIs is an advantage.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-tracking tools is preferred.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of relevant QA/testing experience can be considered.
