Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Quality Control
• Perform frame-by-frame QC of adapted video assets.
• Check video and audio sync accuracy.
• Validate aspect ratios, resolution, frame rates, safe areas, and color consistency.
• Ensure correct encoding settings as per platform requirements (TV, OTT, social, digital).
• Identify compression artifacts, glitches, dropped frames, or rendering issues.
2. Adaptation & Localization Review
• Verify correct implementation of subtitles, supers, end cards, disclaimers, and legal text.
• Ensure language accuracy based on provided translation scripts (timing & placement check).
• Validate on-screen text alignment, font consistency, and regional adaptations.
• Confirm proper replacement of graphics, packshots, pricing, or regulatory information.
3. Audio Checks
• Review voiceover sync and pronunciation alignment.
• Ensure correct language tracks are used.
• Check audio levels meet broadcast/platform standards.
• Confirm background music and SFX integration are accurate post-adaptation.
