\nRequired Technical and Professional Expertise:
\n- \n
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Mainframe Host Network administration and support. \n
- Strong experience in z/OS Communications Server, including VTAM, TCP/IP, Enterprise Extender, and SNA administration. \n
- Expertise in DNS, IP routing, network security, packet analysis, connectivity diagnostics, and network performance tuning. \n
- Experience with problem determination, communications infrastructure support, and enterprise network troubleshooting. \n
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware ESX, and public/private cloud environments, including on-premises to cloud migrations. \n
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills in production environments. \n
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
\n- \n
- Experience with IBM z/OS Communications Server, VTAM configuration, Enterprise Extender (HPR/IP), and SNA networking. \n
- Knowledge of TLS/SSL, encryption, firewall management, and secure network communications. \n
- Experience with Wireshark, OSA/Sniffer, NetView, OMEGAMON, and enterprise monitoring tools. \n
- Familiarity with OSA-Express, HiperSockets, Parallel Sysplex, and IBM Z networking technologies. \n
- Experience in network performance monitoring, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures. \n
- Understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes. \n
- Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), vulnerability management, Active Directory, and ADFS. \n
- Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. \n
