- Own endtoend quality across web and mobile journeys (discovery → release → postrelease).
- Design test strategies blending exploratory testing with automation for UI and APIs.

Build and maintain automation:
- Web UI: Playwright (preferred), or Cypress/Selenium.
- Mobile UI: Appium (iOS/Android; native & hybrid/WebView).
- API: Postman/Newman or equivalent; derive scenarios from OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Validate featureflagged behaviours and safe rollout/rollback paths.
- Interrogate logs and telemetry (Splunk, Dynatrace) to identify root causes, not just symptoms.
- Contribute to 3 Amigos and story shaping; create clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD with meaningful quality gates (e.g., UrbanCode Deploy).
- Proactively prepare for biweekly sprints: ensure test data readiness, environment checks, and automation updates ahead of ceremonies.
- Identify gaps in tools, process, or coverage and recommend innovative solutions.
Essential Skills
- Web automation: Playwright (preferred), or Cypress/Selenium.
- Mobile automation: Appium (iOS/Android; native & hybrid/WebView).
- API testing: Postman/Newman or similar; comfortable reading OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Observability & log analysis: Splunk and/or Dynatrace for triage and RCA.
- Git fundamentals: branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, resolving merge conflicts.
- CI/CD integration: wiring tests into pipelines; enforcing quality gates.
- Feature flags / progressive delivery: validating toggled behaviours across environments.
- Strong communication: articulate risks, tradeoffs, and fixes with engineers and product.
Desirable Skills
- Contractfirst/contracttesting approaches; negative/error path testing.
- Familiarity with GCPhosted services and modernised API ecosystems.
- Testing deep links and WebView → native migrations.
- Experience across multibrand journeys and multiple channels.
