Job Description
As a part of the HR team, you will be responsible for executing and improving core HR functions, maintaining compliance, and delivering exceptional employee support. \nKey Accountabilities:
\nHR Operations:
\n- \n
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle for legal and business services professionals, from onboarding through offboarding. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records and personnel files. \n
- Prepare and manage employment-related documentation, including offer letters, employment contracts, NDAs, HR policies, and other key HR documents. \n
Compliance & Legal HR Support:
\n- \n
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, bar council requirements, and firm-specific protocols. \n
- Coordinate with partners on bar registration tracking, CPD (Continuing Professional Development), and other attorney-specific obligations. \n
- Support internal audits and maintain proper documentation for legal and HR due diligence. \n
HR Systems and Data Management:

- Administer HRIS systems; ensure data integrity and timely updates. \n
- Generate periodic HR reports and dashboards for management. \n
- Support system upgrades and implementation of new HR technologies. \n
Payroll & Benefits:
\n- \n
- Coordinate with finance/payroll teams for accurate salary processing; manage attendance and leave tracking. \n
- Administer benefits such as health insurance, wellness plans, and professional memberships. \n
- Address payroll-related queries from staff and attorneys. \n
Process Improvement:
\n- \n
- Support the HRBP and Talent teams with initiatives and performance reviews. \n
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR efficiency. \n
Employee Engagement & Culture:
\n- \n
- Support team building, well-being, and engagement initiatives that align with the firm’s values. \n
- Organize firm events, milestone celebrations, and professional development sessions. \n
- Act as a trusted resource for staff, helping to foster a positive and inclusive work culture. \n
Desired Skills and Competencies:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word \n
- Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll processes, compliance, and HR systems \n
- Skilled in leveraging MS Office for data analysis, reporting, and creating presentations \n
- Attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism \n
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach. \n
- Ability to manage priorities in a lean, fast paced, & agile environment. \n
Experience and Education:
\n- \n
- Education: MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. \n
- Experience: 4–8 years of HR experience, with at least 1–2 years in a legal/Law firm(preferably), consulting, or boutique professional services firm. \n
