LLM Lead

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced LLM Lead to help develop next-generation AI-driven products. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, leading the technical direction and ensuring high-quality, innovative solutions in the AI and machine learning space. This role requires a balance of technical proficiency and leadership, as well as hands-on experience in building machine learning systems and models.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Machine Learning models and systems, with a focus on Generative AI and LLM-based technologies.
• Develop and implement strategies for prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agents to enhance AI capabilities.
• Drive the technical roadmap for the engineering team, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Provide expertise and hands-on programming support in Python, Langchain, and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business SMEs to understand requirements and effectively communicate technical concepts.
• Utilize Cloud services (Azure, GCP, or AWS) to support scalable and efficient model deployment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 7-10+ years of experience in building and implementing Machine Learning models and systems.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI techniques, including prompt engineering, RAG, and agents.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and driving the technical roadmap.
• Proficiency in Python, Langchain, and SQL.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Cloud services such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
• A hands-on approach to problem-solving and project execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in deploying LLMs for real-world applications.
• Background in developing scalable AI solutions in a production environment.
