Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues impacting the MARS platform.
- Perform detailed root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy fixes following DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Partner with Production Support, Architects, and Product teams to prioritize and resolve critical issues.
- Improve platform stability, performance, resiliency, and observability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Document findings, solutions, and preventative measures.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale, business-critical platforms.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and application performance optimization.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
What Success Looks Like
The ideal candidate is a technical problem solver who can quickly understand the Account Receivables platform, diagnose complex issues, design effective solutions, and independently drive fixes through to production while improving overall platform reliability and stability.
Required Skills
- Strong Java 17 development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Reactive Programming (Spring WebFlux/Project Reactor).
- Experience developing and supporting microservices architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Cassandra.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
