JD for - Infrastructure Vulnerability management and Nexpose/Nessus tool administration role:
Extensive knowledge on Cyber security organization practices, threat & vulnerabilities and best practices, false positive validation and remediation mgmt.
Must have hands on experience in VM tools Nexpose(Insight VM) and Nessus both as an tool administrator and end user
Must be able to work with Vendor for implementing new configurations, product/content updates, troubleshooting issues in VM scanners (Nexpose and Nessus) like scan engines down, collectors not reporting to console, InsightVM Query builder, creds failure, R7 agents, new implementations or migrations etc., Hands-on experience in all VM tool admin activities.
Knowledge on various operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, etc.) and network devices, other security, end point devices commonly deployed in both on premise and cloud environments in enterprise networks.
Strong conceptual and practical understanding of IT Infrastructure designs, technologies, products, and services. This should include knowledge of networking fundamentals, protocols, firewall functionality, databases and other technologies.
Knowledge on incident management process with hand-on experience in ticketing tools like ServiceNow etc, Completely own remediation tracking/mgmt. till closure of the findings, Exception management for Vulns and Policy exception for any process deviations with the assistance of TVM and SecGov teams.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks, take care of client and other vendor discussions or troubleshooting sessions
Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge on Manual validations of the findings and if required perform PT checks after customer approval.
