D365 F&O Technical Assistant Manager

Experience Required: 8+ years (Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP technical domain) Locations: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Gurgaon Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Notice Period: Maximum 30 days We are hiring a D365 Finance & Operations Technical Assistant Manager to own solution architecture, deployments, and delivery for complex D365 F&O projects on global client engagements. This role combines individual technical ownership with mentoring responsibilities, acting as the project's Application Lead. Key Responsibilities • Estimate, design, customize, and develop customer-specific D365 F&O solutions • Work closely with Functional Consultants to design technical solutions • Review and create Technical Design Documents (TDDs) to a high quality standard • Own system upgrades, Life Cycle Services (LCS), code deployment, merging, and system optimizations • Maintain in-depth knowledge of System Administration, Security Roles, and AI-based predictive analytics for identifying system issues • Deliver and participate in client workshops; proactively gather business needs in collaboration with business leaders • Guide and mentor junior developers • Contribute to pre-sales technical questions and responses • Adhere to SDLC and Agile methodologies while preparing Technical Design Documents • Take full ownership of assigned tasks and adhere to project timelines Mandatory Skills & Experience • 8+ years of experience in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP technical domain • Deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations • Strong hands-on expertise in X++, C#, Visual Studio, and version control systems • Practical experience with CI/CD methodologies, ideally using Azure DevOps • Working knowledge of GitHub for code repository management • In-depth knowledge of D365 FO concepts: Extensions, Chain of Command (CoC), OData/Logic Apps integrations, AI-powered tools • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Azure AI/Cognitive Services, Logic Apps, Azure Functions) • Familiarity with Dataverse and Power Platform is advantageous • Capable of operating independently in a scope-based development model • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Results-oriented, client-centric, with strong interpersonal and time-management skills Certifications Required • Microsoft Certified: MB-200 • Microsoft Certified: MB-300 • Microsoft Certified: MB-500 Education Graduate or postgraduate in Computer Science Engineering or related specialization
