🔐 Independent Cyber Security Consultant

📍 Noida (NCR) – Hybrid ⏳ Contract / Consulting

We are seeking a seasoned, hands‑on Cybersecurity Consultant to lead a strategic engagement with our client.

This is not a routine audit or BAU role. The consultant will:

• Assess the current environment
\n
• Challenge existing controls
\n
• Design a pragmatic Zero Trust security architecture
\n
• Establish an institutional‑grade security programme
\n

The client has completed a management‑led internal security review and is executing an active remediation program. Building on this foundation, they require an independent senior practitioner to pressure‑test the current state, validate and strengthen the strategic direction, and deliver a robust security architecture, process framework, and operating rhythm.

This is a hands‑on advisory role reporting directly to senior leadership (CEO‑1). It is not a checkbox audit and not a tool‑selling exercise. Specific findings and internal materials will be shared following NDA execution.

🔎 Desired Profile

• 12+ years of Information Security experience
\n
• 5+ years advising/leading security for Product, SaaS, or data‑intensive organisations
\n
• Deep expertise in the Microsoft Security ecosystem: • Microsoft Entra ID – Conditional Access, MFA, PIM • Microsoft Intune • Defender for Endpoint / XDR • Azure Security
\n
• Strong Azure DevOps / DevSecOps expertise – pipeline security, branch policies, secrets management, SAST/SCA
\n
• Proven Zero Trust Architecture experience
\n
• Insider Risk & Data Exfiltration control design
\n
• ISO 27001:2022 implementation experience
\n
• Ability to engage confidently with senior leadership while remaining technically hands‑on
\n
• ⭐ Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SC‑100, SC‑200, or OSCP are highly valued
\n

We are particularly interested in practitioners who have personally built and strengthened security programmes, rather than those focused primarily on audits or compliance assessments.
