We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership across complex software initiatives, with a strong focus on Agentic AI, solution delivery, and Python engineering. The ideal candidate will bring deep engineering expertise, strong architectural judgment, and a proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready technology solutions.

This role is suited for a hands-on technical leader who can operate across architecture, engineering, AI, and delivery while influencing technical direction and mentoring senior engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for complex, enterprise-scale software and AI initiatives.
• Architect, design, and deliver scalable solutions using Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Design and implement Agentic AI systems, intelligent workflows, AI agents, and automation solutions.
• Evaluate AI use cases and translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Define solution architecture, technical standards, development patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Lead end-to-end solution delivery, from requirements and architecture through development, deployment, and production adoption.
• Build integrations between AI systems, enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and external services.
• Develop reliable and maintainable Python-based services, APIs, automation frameworks, and backend systems.
• Drive technical decision-making around scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, AI/ML, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and architectural challenges and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Review technical designs and implementations and provide guidance on complex engineering challenges.
• Establish engineering practices that improve code quality, development velocity, testing, observability, and operational reliability.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads while fostering strong engineering standards and technical ownership.
• Stay current with advancements in Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, AI orchestration, cloud technologies, and modern software architecture.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems through automation, AI adoption, architectural modernization, and process optimization.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, technology architecture, solution engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and backend software development.
• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale, production-grade software solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI, Generative AI, LLM-based applications, AI agents, orchestration, and intelligent automation.
• Demonstrated ability to take complex business requirements from concept through end-to-end solution delivery.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities with enterprise applications, data platforms, and third-party systems.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical decision-making abilities.
• Proven ability to influence architecture and engineering decisions across multiple teams.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and technical leaders.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous and fast-moving environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
