As the Head of Sales, you will own the overall sales strategy, revenue growth, and go-to-market execution for IIoT-led solutions. You will work closely with senior leadership, product, technology, engineering, and operations teams to identify market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and develop a strong enterprise customer base.
The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage the complete sales lifecycle-from market identification and prospecting to consultative selling, commercial negotiations, deal closure, and account expansion. You will also contribute to the organisation's growth and funding objectives by building a compelling commercial story, demonstrating market traction, and supporting investor and strategic-partner conversations where required.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall sales and revenue strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Build and manage the sales pipeline across IIoT, industrial automation, connected assets, digital transformation, and enterprise technology solutions.
- Identify new markets, customer segments, strategic accounts, and high-value business opportunities.
- Develop relationships with CXO-level stakeholders across manufacturing, industrial, infrastructure, automotive, energy, logistics, and related sectors.
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles involving discovery, solution positioning, proposals, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships, channel relationships, and ecosystem alliances to accelerate market penetration.
- Develop effective go-to-market strategies for new products, solutions, and geographic markets.
- Establish sales targets, forecasting processes, performance metrics, and revenue plans.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team as the organisation scales.
- Create scalable sales processes, playbooks, qualification frameworks, and account-management practices.
- Work closely with product and technology teams to translate customer requirements into commercially viable IIoT solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities.
- Drive account expansion, cross-selling, upselling, renewals, and long-term strategic relationships.
- Present sales performance, pipeline health, forecasts, and growth strategies to senior leadership.
- Support strategic fundraising and investor discussions by providing insights into market opportunity, customer traction, revenue potential, and commercial strategy.
- Ensure strong alignment between sales execution, customer success, product strategy, and overall business objectives.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 10+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, business development, technology sales, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading sales functions and delivering significant revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of IIoT, industrial technology, IoT, automation, connected systems, or digital transformation solutions.
- Experience selling complex technology solutions to enterprise and industrial customers.
- Strong network of senior decision-makers and strategic relationships across relevant industries.
- Demonstrated success in enterprise account acquisition, strategic partnerships, negotiations, and high-value deal closures.
- Strong understanding of sales strategy, pipeline management, forecasting, revenue planning, and sales operations.
- Experience building and scaling high-performing sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect technology solutions to measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Experience working closely with founders, CXOs, investors, product teams, and technology leaders.
- Exposure to fundraising, investor engagement, or supporting growth-stage companies is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic-thinking abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with significant ownership and accountability.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
