About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biotechnology Engineering and related areas.
\n
• Develop lesson plans, laboratory exercises, assessments, and learning resources aligned with academic standards.
\n
• Conduct high-quality teaching using innovative and technology-enabled pedagogical approaches.
\n
• Mentor students in academic, research, innovation, and career development activities.
\n
• Guide student projects, internships, capstone projects, and research initiatives.
\n
• Contribute to curriculum development, revision, and enhancement activities.
\n
• Engage in research, publications, patents, funded projects, and scholarly activities.
\n
• Participate in conferences, workshops, faculty development programs, and academic forums.
\n
• Support accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance initiatives.
\n
• Contribute to departmental, School, and University-level academic and administrative activities.
\n

Eligibility Criteria

\n
• Ph.D. in Biotechnology Engineering / Biotechnology / Biochemical Engineering / Bioengineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized University (Mandatory).
\n
• Strong academic background with demonstrated interest in teaching and research.
\n
• Research publications in reputed journals will be preferred.
\n
• Experience in handling laboratories, research projects, and student mentoring will be an added advantage.
\n

Preferred Profile

\n
• Candidates from premier institutions such as IITs, NITs, IISERs, Central Universities, National Institutes, or internationally reputed universities will be preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated research potential through publications, patents, funded projects, or innovation activities.
\n
• Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary research and industry collaborations.
