This role bridges core building services engineering with high-level commercial and facilities management capability. The appointee will own the technical substrate—HVAC, electrical distribution, IBMS, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, energy auditing, ESG reporting, and smart building IoT—delivering applied instruction in our dedicated laboratories and active client site networks.

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria (AICTE Level 13A1)

\n
    \n
  • Ph.D. in Management, Building Services Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Facilities Management, or a closely allied discipline.
  • \n
  • First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level (MBA / PGDM 2-year full-time or M.E. / M.Tech.).
  • \n
  • 8 to 10 years of combined teaching, research, and industry experience (minimum of 2 years post-Ph.D. ).
  • \n
  • 6+ research publications in SCI, Scopus, or UGC-CARE listed journals.
  • \n
  • Research Supervision: Evidence of postgraduate dissertation supervision (recognized Ph.D. guide status strongly preferred).

  • Core Technical & Commercial Competencies Required

Key Performance Expectations

\n
    \n
  • Research & Consultancy: Minimum 2 Scopus/SCI indexed papers per academic year and 1 funded grant proposal or paid consultancy mandate annually.
  • \n
  • Lab Ownership & OEM Status: Obtain Schneider Electric Trainer/Partner Certification within 6 months and lead the EcoStruxure BMS & Energy Audit Labs.
  • \n
  • Industry & Site Exposure: Deliver a minimum of 6 structured industry site visits annually and maintain active relationships with 8+ facilities-sector employers ( JLL, CBRE, Blue Star, Embassy Group, etc. ).
  • \n
  • Student Progression: Achieve ≥85% OEM/industry credential throughput for mentored students.
  • \n
