Role: System Installation Design Engineer- Catia V5

Location: Bangalore

Experience Range: 4-8 Years.

Required skillset: Strong experience in Aircraft Systems Installation Design, including integration of propulsion, fuel, hydraulic, environmental control, avionics, electrical, flight control, landing gear, and weapon systems within aircraft structures.

Must have:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering discipline
\n
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and drafting.
\n
• Strong knowledge of LRU installation, packaging, and bracket design.
\n
• Experience in routing of tubes, pipes, ducts, and electrical harnesses.
\n
• Hands-on experience in creating installation, assembly, and manufacturing drawings.
\n
• Good understanding of GD&T and aerospace drawing standards.
\n
• Experience in clash detection, interference analysis, and clearance studies.
\n
• Knowledge of aerospace standard parts, fittings, fasteners, and connectors.
\n
• Experience with Teamcenter or other PLM tools for drawing release and configuration management.
\n
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Structures, Systems, Stress, and Manufacturing.
\n
• Understanding of DFMA principles and installation maintainability requirements.
\n
• Experience in release of CAD models, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
\n
• Exposure to aircraft design standards and aerospace development programs.
\n
