Job Description
Profile: Technical Project Manager / Delivery Manager
\nProduct
\nEduCrypt — EdTech SaaS Platform
\nExperience
\n10+ years
\nReports To
\nHead of Engineering / Product Leadership
\nRole Overview
\nWe are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager / Delivery Manager to own end-to-end delivery for EduCrypt, our EdTech SaaS platform. The role requires someone who is equally comfortable in sprint rooms and in architecture discussions — driving planning and execution across a large, cross-functional development team while staying hands-on enough to understand infrastructure, code, and quality risks well enough to challenge them.
\nKey Qualifications
\n- \n
- 10+ years of experience in technical project / delivery management, including at least one stint managing a large development team. \n
- Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure — core services, environment setup, scaling, cost, and reliability trade-offs, sufficient to hold informed conversations with DevOps/SRE. \n
- Working understanding of MySQL and MongoDB — schema thinking, indexing basics, and when to reach for relational vs. document stores. \n
- Working understanding of Node.js / Nest.js — able to read code, review PRs at a conceptual level, and reason about API and service design. \n
- Working understanding of Laravel — enough to support legacy/PHP-stack conversations and cross-stack delivery planning. \n
- Having good understanding of Android, iOS and Web development. \n
- Solid grounding in both manual and automation testing, and hands-on experience building test plans and QA strategy. \n
- Understanding of application security and VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing) — able to interpret findings, prioritize remediation, and track closure. \n
- Demonstrated capability managing all development team across multiple pods/squads. \n
- Strong track record in sprint planning and execution — backlog grooming, estimation, velocity tracking, and release management. \n
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate between engineering, QA, security, and business stakeholders. \n
- Direct exposure to AI-assisted development — using AI tools to write, review, or accelerate code, and comfort evaluating AI-generated output. \n
- Familiarity with AI workflows — prompt-driven development processes, AI-in-the-loop QA/documentation, and evaluating where AI fits into the delivery pipeline. \n
- 1–2 products' worth of ownership experience, with 3+ years on at least one product from a similar stage (SaaS / EdTech preferred). \n
Key Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Own delivery planning, sprint execution, and release tracking across the EduCrypt engineering team. \n
- Translate product requirements into technical documentation, test plans, and execution-ready tickets. \n
- Coordinate manual and automation QA efforts; review test coverage and sign off on release readiness. \n
- Track and triage production issues; drive root-cause analysis and ensure timely resolution and feedback loops. \n
- Partner with security/VAPT vendors or internal teams to track vulnerability remediation. \n
- Monitor AWS infrastructure health and costs in coordination with DevOps, flagging risks early. \n
- Produce regular status reports, delivery dashboards, and data-driven insights for leadership. \n
- Champion the use of AI tools within the team to improve coding velocity, QA, and documentation quality. \n
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release/deployment governance (change management, rollback planning). \n
- Familiarity with EdTech-specific concerns: DRM/content protection (e.g., Widevine/HLS), payment gateway integrations, and data privacy for student data. \n
- Exposure to Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum-of-Scrums) given the 40+ team size. \n
- Basic financial/commercial literacy (budget tracking, P&L or delivery-cost accountability). \n
