Job Description –
Minimum of 5+ years of Redhat Linux architecture, deployment, administration, networking, performance monitoring, security hardening, troubleshooting and production operations.
- Very good communication skills & experience in handling outage calls.
- Linux OS patching and troubleshooting.
- Satellite & Puppet Channel troubleshooting knowledge.
- Booting procedure and handling server boot issues (including server restoration)
- Good understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, FTP, NTP, DNS, NFS, CIFS)
- Administer, manage and monitor performance of database and applications deployed on Linux servers - Advanced system Performance troubleshooting / tuning; log files investigation
- Perform RCA for Major Incidents
- Help identify risk resolutions and improvement opportunities and track them to closure through Service Improvement Plans
- Server hardening.
- Hardware troubleshooting & Vendor coordination
- Handling outage calls
