Position: Semi-Qualified CA – Statutory Audit / Internal Audit / vCFO & Accounting

About the Role

Ashish Shah & Associates is looking for Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountants to join our growing teams across Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and vCFO / Accounting assignments.

Important: Candidates must be strictly CA dropouts and should not be pursuing CA currently . Candidates who are planning to continue or complete their CA are not eligible.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Audit

\n
• Assist in planning and execution of statutory audit assignments.
\n
• Perform audit procedures, vouching, verification and substantive testing.
\n
• Review financial statements and supporting schedules.
\n
• Assist in Ind AS / accounting-related matters.
\n
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation.
\n

Internal Audit

\n
• Execute internal audit assignments across various industries.
\n
• Review business processes, internal controls and SOPs.
\n
• Identify control gaps, risks and process improvement opportunities.
\n
• Perform reconciliations, analytical reviews and test checks.
\n
• Assist in preparation of Internal Audit Reports.
\n

vCFO / Accounting

\n
• Assist in bookkeeping and accounting activities.
\n
• Preparation and review of financial statements.
\n
• Bank, ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
\n
• MIS reporting and financial analysis.
\n
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
\n
• Support clients on accounting and finance-related requirements.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Semi-Qualified CA – strictly CA dropout.
\n
• Candidates should not be pursuing CA currently .
\n
• Strong understanding of Accounting and Auditing concepts.
\n
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
\n
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Ability to work on multiple client assignments.
\n
• Candidates with prior experience in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Accounting or vCFO services will be preferred.
