Assistant Vice President Credit

About the role: The role requirement is to oversee and manage the entire credit activities & processes. This is for our NBFC team - Klay Finvest Pvt Limited

Roles & Responsibility:

• Develop and implement comprehensive credit policies and risk assessment models to ensure high quality loan portfolios.

• Finalize policies and set up processes for quality underwriting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Conduct underwriting for loan transactions, managing and mitigating risks effectively.

• Lead risk analytics and policy-making, providing strategic insights to optimize credit operations.

• Collaborate with business teams for proper formulation, fitment, structuring, pricing, and execution of transactions based on client requirements.

• Monitor and report on credit exposures, defaults, and portfolio performance, adjusting strategies as necessary.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit risk.

• Develop a robust risk management department, including hiring, team development

Your key qualifications & competencies:

• Over 10+ years of professional experience in Banks/NBFCs/Rating Agencies with expertise in credit risk management, policy development, risk modelling, etc.

• MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountancy, Certifications like FRM and CFA are highly desirable.

• Creative thinker, rigorous analyst, detail-oriented, self-starter, capable of multitasking, and regular engagement in professional development.

• Ability to use business judgement and a structured approach towards solving complex analytical problems
