\nRole Overview:
\nWe are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience
\nin Steel and Light Gauge/Cold formed Steel with experience in Wood, Masonry, precast
\nand Concrete structures considered as an added advantage. The ideal candidate
\nshould possess a strong understanding of client requirements, the ability to interpret
\nengineering documentation, and proficiency in software and manual calculation,
\ndesigning structural elements and detailing. This role involves developing structural
\nmodels, analysis and design, preparation manual calculation, preparing engineering
\ndocumentation, and ensuring compliance with international project standards,
\nparticularly those followed in the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n• Software Proficiency: RISA 3D, RISA CONNECTION, ROBOT STRUCTURAL
\nANALYSIS/ETABS/STAADPRO, IDEA STATICA, RAM CONNECTION
\n• SAP 2000, Basics on TEKLA – considered as an added advantage
\n• ENERCALC/CLEARCALCS considered as an added advantage
\n• Client Interaction: Understand and interpret client requirements effectively.
\n• Engineering Documentation: Review and interpret engineering documentation to
\nensure compliance with project specifications.
\n• Design: Design structural elements for Steel, Light Gauge/Cold formed Steel
\n• Model Development: Develop detailed structural models using appropriate
\nsoftware.
\n• Preparation of Engineering Documents: Prepare Design documents, manual
\ncalculation, engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
\n• Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs and documentation comply with
\ninternational standards and norms.
\n• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines and project teams
\nto ensure project success.
\n• Hands-on Experience: Provide hands-on engineering support during the project
\nlifecycle.
\nQualifications:
\n• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering/ Master’s degree in Structural
\nEngineering
\n• 5+ years of relevant experience in various domains.
\n• Strong understanding of international project standards (USA, UK, Canada,
\nAustralia etc).
\n• Proficiency in structural design software mentioned.
\n• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
\n• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\nPreferred Skills:
\n• Familiarity with building codes and regulations in the USA,UK, Canada,
\nAustralia etc.
