\nJob Requirements*
\n3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
\nAzure Infrastructure Management
\n- \n
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure IaaS & PaaS resources including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, App Services, and Databases. \n
- Perform advanced lifecycle management of resources—scaling, patching, backup, migration, and optimization. \n
- Lead the administration of Subscriptions, Resource Groups, Management Groups, and Landing Zones. \n
Identity & Access Administration
\n- \n
- Manage Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, users, groups, MFA, Conditional Access, and Identity Protection. \n
- Implement and review Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and least‑privilege access controls. \n
- Conduct periodic access reviews and ensure secure identity lifecycle management. \n
Azure Networking Administration
\n- \n
- Configure and troubleshoot VNETs, Subnets, DNS, VNET Peering, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and hybrid connectivity. \n
- Manage and secure NSGs, ASGs, UDRs, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, and Service Endpoints. \n
- Analyze and resolve complex network bottlenecks and connectivity issues. \n
Monitoring, Operations & Performance Management
\n- \n
- Configure and maintain Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Alerts, and Diagnostics settings. \n
- Perform proactive health checks, performance tuning, and utilization optimization of cloud resources. \n
- Conduct incident investigation and L2/L3 troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution and RCA documentation. \n
Backup, Recovery & Business Continuity
\n- \n
- Configure and manage Azure Backup, retention policies, and backup vaults. \n
- Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery using Azure Site Recovery (ASR). \n
- Conduct routine recovery testing and ensure RTO/RPO adherence. \n
Security, Governance & Compliance
\n- \n
- Apply Azure security best practices across compute, network, storage, and identity layers. \n
- Manage and enforce Azure Policies, Blueprints, Tags, cost governance rules, and resource compliance. \n
- Work alongside security teams to address vulnerabilities from Defender for Cloud, access risks, and security alerts. \n
Automation & Scripting
\n- \n
- Develop automation for deployment, configuration, monitoring, and remediation using: \n
- PowerShell \n
- Azure CLI \n
- ARM/Bicep templates \n
- Enhance operational efficiency by automating routine administrative tasks. \n
- Maintain version‑controlled repositories for infrastructure code and operational scripts. \n
Cost Management & Optimization
\n- \n
- Monitor and control cloud spending using Azure Cost Management & Advisor recommendations. \n
- Implement tagging, rightsizing, scheduled shutdowns, and resource cleanup policies. \n
- Provide monthly or quarterly cloud cost insights to leadership. \n
Documentation & Knowledge Management
\n- \n
- Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure architecture, SOPs, operational playbooks, and change history. \n
- Create runbooks for recurring administration tasks and train junior team members. \n
- Ensure all changes follow established change management procedures. \n
Cross‑Team Collaboration & Leadership
\n- \n
- Work closely with DevOps, Network, Security, Application, and Compliance teams to support business needs. \n
- Lead technical discussions, provide guidance to junior admins, and support project delivery. \n
- Participate in cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives. \n
Key Responsibilities*
\nAn experienced Azure Administrator (3+ years) responsible for designing, implementing, managing, monitoring, and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep hands‑on expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS services, automation, governance, identity management, networking, and enterprise-scale cloud operations.
\n\nHandle L2/L3 escalations, troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure issues.
\nManage and support Azure workloads: VMs, VNETs, Storage, SQL, App Services, and other PaaS components.
\nMonitor availability, performance, cost, and health of cloud resources.
\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement proactive fixes.
