Required Skills

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Server Administration / System Administration / Hosting Support.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu Server administration.
\n
• Good working knowledge of Apache and Nginx.
\n
• Experience managing VPS, cloud, and dedicated servers.
\n
• Good understanding of DNS and domain configuration, including A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.
\n
• Experience with SSL certificate installation, renewal, and troubleshooting.
\n
• Working knowledge of PHP server environments and PHP extensions.
\n
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB.
\n
• Good understanding of SSH, SFTP/FTP, Cron Jobs, permissions, users, and Linux commands.
\n
• Experience with server monitoring including CPU, RAM, disk space, bandwidth, server load, and uptime.
\n
• Knowledge of server backup, restore, and migration.
\n
• Basic understanding of firewalls, server security, SSH hardening, and access control.
\n
• Ability to troubleshoot 500, 502, 503, 504, DNS, SSL, database, and connectivity issues.
\n
• Ability to manage and monitor multiple domains and servers simultaneously.
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Manage, monitor, and maintain servers supporting 15+ company domains, websites, applications, and databases.
\n
• Monitor server health, uptime, CPU, RAM, disk usage, bandwidth, and overall performance.
\n
• Configure and maintain Apache/Nginx, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, Virtual Hosts, and SSL.
\n
• Manage domain and DNS configurations and troubleshoot DNS-related issues.
\n
• Install, configure, renew, and troubleshoot SSL certificates.
\n
• Perform server deployment, configuration, migration, and maintenance activities.
\n
• Monitor and maintain regular website and database backups and perform restoration when required.
\n
• Configure and monitor Cron Jobs and automated server tasks.
\n
• Troubleshoot website, application, database, email, DNS, SSL, and server-related issues.
\n
• Monitor server logs and identify errors, abnormal activity, and potential performance issues.
\n
• Maintain server security, firewall rules, user permissions, SSH access, and security updates.
\n
• Monitor and troubleshoot SMTP/email delivery, mail queues, and server-related email issues where applicable.
\n
• Coordinate with PHP, Python, SEO, Digital Marketing, and other technical teams for server-related requirements.
\n
• Support developers during application deployment and production releases.
\n
• Maintain documentation of servers, domains, IPs, databases, configurations, backups, and incidents.
\n
• Respond quickly to server downtime, critical alerts, and infrastructure-related incidents.
\n
• Proactively identify potential server issues and take preventive action before they impact websites or applications.
\n

Preferred Skills

\n
• Experience with AWS, Digital Ocean, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
\n
• Experience with Cloudflare and CDN configuration.
\n
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
\n
• Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub and deployment workflows.
\n
• Experience deploying Python, Node.js, or other web applications.
\n
• Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, or other application services.
\n
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment.
\n
• Familiarity with server monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, or similar tools.
\n
• Knowledge of Linux server hardening and security best practices.
\n
• Experience with server migration and disaster recovery.
\n
• Basic knowledge of SMTP, PHP Mailer, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
\n
• Experience handling high-traffic websites, data processing servers, or web scraping infrastructure will be an advantage.
