Branch Intelligence Specialist

About the Role:

Piramal Finance is looking for a business-oriented, highly analytical professional to join the Branch Intelligence Unit (BIU) as a Branch Intelligence Analyst.

This is a high-impact, business-facing role working closely with National Business Heads, Geo Leaders, and business teams to convert data and AI into actionable solutions that drive business growth, profitability, productivity, and strategic decision-making.

The role will also be responsible for driving the adoption of BIU's AI and data products across branches and geographies, understanding new business requirements, resolving data/analytics problems, and ensuring that business teams effectively leverage AI and data in their day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with National Business Heads and Geo Leaders to solve business challenges through data, analytics, and AI.
\n
• Drive business growth and profitability through actionable data-driven insights and recommendations.
\n
• Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and root causes.
\n
• Drive adoption and effective utilization of BIU AI products, dashboards, and data solutions across branches and geographies.
\n
• Work closely with Branch, Geo, Cluster, and Zonal teams to understand new requirements, business problems, and opportunities and translate them into analytical/AI solutions.
\n
• Act as a key point of contact for branch and geo-level data, dashboard, reporting, and AI-product issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
\n
• Identify opportunities where AI, automation, analytics, and data visualization can improve productivity, decision-making, and business performance.
\n
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards, MIS, analytical models, and automated reporting solutions for business leadership.
\n
• Extract, analyze, and validate data using SQL, Python, and Excel.
\n
• Deliver end-to-end solutions—from understanding the business problem and gathering requirements to developing the solution, presenting insights, and measuring impact.

• Conduct/enable AI and data product awareness, demonstration, and knowledge-sharing sessions for business teams where required.
\n
• Proactively monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve growth, profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
\n
• Present complex analytical findings in a simple, clear, and business-oriented manner to senior stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

• 1-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a similar role.
\n
• Strong ability to translate complex data and business problems into actionable insights and solutions.
\n
• Strong understanding of AI, analytics, dashboards, and data-driven business decision-making.
\n
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working directly with senior business leaders.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple business requirements and deliver solutions independently.
\n
• Experience in Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, Sales, or Retail Analytics is preferred.
